Kampong Chhnang (Khmer: ខេត្តកំពង់ឆ្នាំង) is a central province of Cambodia. Its capital is
Kampong Chhnang town.
Kampong Chhnang is one of the nine provinces that is part of the Tonle Sap Biosphere Reserve.
The province is famous for its clay pots. In fact, Kampong
Chhnang means "Port of Pottery."
Kampong Chhnang is subdivided into 8 districts.
